Ortega Family Wines

The Ortega Family emigrated to the Napa Valley in 1964. For over 57 years, the Ortegas have worked countless hours in different microclimates within the Napa Valley. 

Jesus Jr. was born and raised in the vineyards of Napa Valley, working alongside his mother, father, brothers, and sisters.  As a child, he developed an affection for the vineyards. He began to educate himself on its cultivation and other farming practices, a sector his family has proudly worked in for three generations. 

For the last 13 years, Jesus Jr. has worked as a vineyard Operations Manager and Consultant, helping other people develop their vineyards. He is heavily involved in all aspects of the Napa Valley wine industry, from cultivation, fermentation, aging, and bottling, to marketing and tasting.  For the last seven years, Jesus has worked countless hours to develop his namesake label to honor his father’s legacy – Ortega Family Wines.
