Pimentel Family Wines stems from a passion for viticulture and farming. Having run Pimentel Vineyard Management for the last few years and partnering with premium vineyards in Napa, Sonoma, and in surrounding areas, our founder decided it was time to bring his knowledge and expertise into winemaking.
Natives of the small farming town of Churintzio Michoacan, Mexico, Esteban Pimentel, and Ruben Perez immigrated to the United States in 1950 under the government “bracero” worker program. Some of the Perez Pimentel family later followed in 1985, settling in the Napa Valley.
The Perez Pimentel Family brings 70 years of farming experience to California. Ramon Perez Naranjo, son of Ruben Perez, found work in 1985 in the Domain Chandon vineyards. Ramon had been working full time in the vineyards of California and managing Napa Valley vineyards since 1986. It was here in wine country where he raised and instilled a passion for agriculture in his own son, Cesar, who he taught the dream of owning his own vineyard management company.
