Flor de Chile

Where heat and crunch meet to perfect

General Information

Flor de Chile was born in my Kitchen in San Francisco. I grew up in Yucatan, Mexico known for its amazing cuisine. I am so honored to be sharing the unique flavors of the Yucatan Peninsula anchored in Mayan tradition with you!

When I moved to San Francisco, I missed authentic spicy Yucatan flavors. I created Flor de Chile to bring that flavor to my meals in SF. My salsas have helped me turn San Francisco into my home. In the past few years, I have grown as a chef, and love sharing food with my loved ones, creating memories in the kitchen. I treasure the joy I experience sharing a meal over many hours at the table.

It would make me happiest if you enjoy the flavor, crunch, and spice of my homemade salsas with your meals and share them with your loved ones. Having Flor de Chile always at the center of your table would be a dream come true. My hope is that the salsas’ versatility can make it easier to flavor anything, from a taco to a pizza to a sandwich or even a salad.
