Growing up in Houston, I always noticed the lack of Authentic Mexican Restaurants and the abundance of Tex-Mex restaurants. As a young boy, I didn’t really know what the difference was. All I knew is that nothing compared to mom’s home cooking. I decided embrace my culture and bring forth everything I loved about my childhood, especially mom’s home cooking.
At Space City Birria, we’ve taken inspiration from our roots and childhood memories to create a dining experience that encapsulates everything that makes Houston the greatest city in America. Our mission is to blend the authentic and homemade essence of Mexican food with modern flavors, offering a unique twist that goes beyond the typical Tex-Mex fare.
