YoYo Treats

Mexican Street Snacks and Drinks
(0 Reviews)

General Information

The vision to create YoYo Treats started many years ago, but the idea to launch it came when we moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, and we couldn’t find our favorite Mexican street snacks. We missed not being able to buy duros preparados, empapelados, and marquesitas — so we pondered the idea to sell them ourselves, and decided to bring our business to life. We first started selling our products at street festivals one year ago, and now we’re about to open our own permanent kiosk at Ashland Market and Café in San Leandro, California.

Many of the fresh snacks that we sell at YoYo Treats are familiar to Mexican street-snack lovers — fruit cups with yogurt or cream with spices; fancy, shaved-ice drinks; chips with special toppings, delicious corn foil packets — however, marquesitas are unique to the Yucatan Peninsula, hence, quite hard to find outside of that area (a marquesita is a crispy crepe roll filled with a wide choice of toppings). Our dream is to bring some of these less well known Mexican snacks, along with some of the already popular Mexican treats to the Bay Area, for all of you to enjoy!
