Lucy Hurtado, the owner of El Rey Mexican Cuisine, started in the food and hospitality industry at a very young age. At the age of 11, her mother and aunts ran a small business making jellies, tamales, fritters, tacos, enchiladas, and classic pozole. That is how she discovered a passion for cuisine and the desire to share the flavors, traditions, and love of Mexican food as a restauranteur.
